The $150 consultation fee (tax-exempt) is paid securely online when you book, and payment confirms your selected appointment time. Consultation fees pay for clinician review — prescriptions, notes, and referrals remain at the clinician's discretion. Not for medical emergencies — if this is an emergency, call 911.
About this service
If you have an active or recently expired prescription, you can request a renewal through MedVibe. A licensed clinician will review your intake form and medication history before making any decision. All renewals are clinician-approved—no automated decisions are made.
How this service works
This service can be handled online or via a booked appointment, depending on your situation and clinician recommendation.
Clinician discretion. All prescriptions, notes, requisitions, and treatment plans are provided only when clinically appropriate and at the clinician's discretion.
Pharmacy. If a prescription is appropriate, your clinician can send it to your preferred pharmacy.
Not for emergencies. If this is a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Some concerns may require in-person care.
Process
Answer a short questionnaire about your medication and health history.
A licensed clinician reviews your request and may follow up with questions.
You receive a notification when your clinician has completed their review.
No family doctor
You can request an assessment even if you do not have a family doctor. A licensed nurse practitioner reviews your treatment, history, and safety factors before deciding whether a remote renewal is appropriate.
The decision remains clinical
A request is not a guarantee of a prescription. If a remote renewal is not safe, the clinician explains the appropriate next step.
