Blood Work Requisition
Request a clinician-issued lab requisition for routine blood work.
The $150 consultation fee (tax-exempt) is paid securely online when you book, and payment confirms your selected appointment time. Consultation fees pay for clinician review — prescriptions, notes, and referrals remain at the clinician's discretion. Not for medical emergencies — if this is an emergency, call 911.
About this service
What you can expect
If you'd like a routine panel — lipids, thyroid, CBC, vitamin levels, A1c, and similar — a MedVibe clinician will review your request and, where clinically appropriate, issue a lab requisition you can take to a participating laboratory in your province. Decisions are made by a licensed clinician; not every panel is appropriate for every patient.
How this service works
This service can be handled online or via a booked appointment, depending on your situation and clinician recommendation.
Clinician discretion. All prescriptions, notes, requisitions, and treatment plans are provided only when clinically appropriate and at the clinician's discretion.
Not for emergencies. If this is a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Some concerns may require in-person care.

The requisition is only the first step
Laboratory fees and turnaround times are separate from MedVibe. Results still need to be reviewed in their clinical context. If you already have results, our interpretation service can help you understand them.
