Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using MedVibe, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Nature of the platform
MedVibe is a technology platform that facilitates connections between patients and independent licensed healthcare practitioners. MedVibe does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Clinical services are provided by independent regulated practitioners who are not employees of MedVibe.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your province) to register an account. Services may have additional eligibility requirements specified on each service page.
4. No guarantee of clinical outcomes
MedVibe does not guarantee any specific clinical outcome, including but not limited to prescriptions, diagnoses, medical notes, or any other clinical determination. All clinical decisions are made at the sole discretion of the assigned licensed practitioner.
5. Emergency care
MedVibe is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are having thoughts of self-harm, contact a crisis line (Canada: call or text 988).
6. Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, provide false information, attempt to circumvent clinical safeguards, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
8. Fees, refunds & cancellations
Applicable fees are displayed before service confirmation, in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated, and the consultation fee pays for clinician review — not for any specific outcome. Payment is requested only after your request has been reviewed. If MedVibe cannot offer the requested service before a consultation begins, you will not be charged — or will be refunded if payment was already collected. Once a practitioner consultation has started, fees are generally non-refundable. Missed appointments may be non-refundable unless MedVibe agrees to reschedule.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedVibe and its affiliates, directors, officers, and staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform. MedVibe is a technology platform and does not provide medical care; clinical services are provided by independent licensed practitioners at their professional discretion and remain subject to practitioner assessment. MedVibe is not an emergency service (see Section 5). Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud, breach of privacy obligations, or any non-waivable statutory or consumer-protection rights. Where liability may be limited but not excluded, MedVibe's total liability is limited to the amount of the fees you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in the Province of Québec, judicial district of Montréal.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
